An seed of an idea that had sprouted my high school freshman year flourished when, after waiting for approval and rescheuling three times due to snow days, we were finally able to kick off our first LOL Comedy Club meeting in March 2001. Correspondant Frank Galligan of TV21 News reported.

Since the club started at the end of the school year, we weren't able to generate a solid group yet. So LOL went into its dark ages, and came out of hibernation in Fall 2002, with a new ensemble--like a rebirth, you could say.
